welcome to my practice

I am a person-centred counsellor, working with adults in person and online. I also facilitate therapeutic writing groups.

Counselling is a regular and private space for you to bring whatever you’re experiencing and feeling, no matter how long it’s been there or how unclear it is. All of you is welcome, your fullness and your emptiness, what seems too much and what feels not enough. We will work together to help you explore and unfold what’s going on at a pace and depth that feels right for you. This may look and feel different each week.

Writing as a therapeutic practice is about expressing yourself, finding your voice and listening to the body and the stories it holds. Often these ‘stories’ are not linear or whole – they are pieces or fragments. Writing in this way can help loosen and release emotion, sensation, thought, memory and experience. Both privately and with others, writing can be a sustaining and empowering practice. It is always consent-led and invitational. You choose what you write.
